We were enchanted to find the deep purple, almond-shaped, meaty Kalamons being organically grown, without the use of synthetic fertilizers or pesticides, in the idyllic Sparta region. It's not all that common. These Organic jumbo Kalamons are brined with less salt than you usually find curing these fruits, and preserved in organic extra virgin olive oil, made from the very same quality Kalamons. Trader Joe's brand products contain NO synthetic colors, artificial flavors, artificial preservatives, MSG, added trans fats, dairy ingredients from rBST sources or genetically modified ingredients.
