Made from Barnea olives, a classic Mediterranean varietal, this oil is first press, meaning the olives are pressed once, and only once. While other producers may take oil from a second and third pressing or use chemical solvents to extract yet further quantities of oil, The Village Press philosophy is to use only oil produced from one high quality pressing.
