Began After 16 months of research and development, a husband and wife, both pharmacists, developed a specialized recipe including the root from Organic Konjac plants, Purified water and Organic Oat Fiber. "As a mother of two, I am constantly on the look out for healthy food alternatives. So, one day, I decided to try and make a pizza base using Glucomannan which had been presented as a weight loss ingredient. This failed terribly with the outcome being a gel-like mass, instead of pizza dough. After further research, I discovered that Glucomannan comes from a plant called Konjac, which is used to make Konjac flour. The Japanese have been using this flour to make healthier noodles for centuries. So, in October 2010, I started what became a 16-month research and development project.
