Dried Porcini Mushrooms -1 oz

Porcini mushrooms are a type of species, Boletus edulis, from the genus Boletus and are also known as cep, penny bun and king bolete mushrooms. Mushroom devotees crave them for their complex flavor and meaty texture. While they're excellent in practically any mushroom friendly dish they're particularly cherished in Italian cuisine. Porcini mushrooms are found growing wild in Pacific Northwest forests and are generally harvested during June and July and, depending on that year's weather, may also be picked again in September.
