This Asdomar tuna is worked and completely finished in the factory of Olbia, where are brought the whole tuna, which are caught in the warm tropical waters of the Oceans and strictly controlled and selected before the production process. Asdomar is certified "Friend of the Sea" and is committed to promoting the sustainability of fisheries and the safeguarding of protected species. Also, always chooses adult tunas to safeguard the reproduction of the species.
Asdomar chose to invest in Italy in the well-done job, by women and men. A professional and human heritage that makes Asdomar unique in the world. Since 2008 Asdomar have brought production in Italy, to Olbia (Sardinia), focusing on a long tradition of art and tuna processing. The new plant was opened in 2010, it is the most modern in Europe, and it has opened the door to a new generation of artisans of taste. Asdomar completely finish its tuna in Italy, because only by keeping the entire production cycle of tuna (and not just "putting it in a box" in our country) produces the true Italian quality. So, the whole process takes place in Italy: the whole tunas are brought to Olbia factory, and all the stages of production, from cutting to packing, are made in Italy, following the Italian art of cooking, cleaning and selecting the fish. For this reasons, Asdomar can bring back with pride on its labels "Lavorato completamente in Italia" ("Entirely finished in Italy").
