It lies within the geographical territory defined as the Appellation d'Origine controlee Vallee des Baux de Provence. The history of the estate, sometimes peaceful, often marked by war, conflict, and successive frosts, is closely linked to the history of the Vallee des Baux de Provence itself, where the estate is undoubtedly one of the most outstanding sites.
