The word "marmalade" refers to products made of citrus fruits (mainly orange and lemon), all other fruit preparations made of other fruits are called "jams". According to the law, marmalades must contain a content of fruit of at least 20%. Casa Giulia marmalades contain 34% of citrus fruits. Jams must contain at least 45% of fruit, Casa Giulia jams contain much more than this : the whole range of jams have a fruit content between 60 - 65%. The quality of our products derives from the quality and origin of raw materials and ingredients that are mixed to create a good products with a high content of fruit. We do use only fruit in pieces, neither fruit purees nor other surrogates. We do not use preservatives and this assures the naturalness of our fruit preparations. |
