Bis*Bas is a range of sauces that have been inspired by the warm memories of the founders' childhood.

As children growing up in Aden, their homes were often infused with the wonderful, deep aromas of exotic herbs and spices being slowly cooked with fresh meat, fish and vegetables. Their scents filled the air, making family mealtimes a real joy.

That was when love of food was born, and ever since we’ve associated food and cooking with family and friends sharing together.

Hugely versatile, Bis*Bas can be used hot to flavour meat, fish or vegetable dishes, cold as a delicious dip, or just straight from the jar to add zest to your food. However you decide to eat it, share and enjoy!

Traditionally, this sauce was cooked with aubergine and plenty of oil to make it last on long journeys across the desert. Today, Bis*Bas combined black onion seeds, green chillies and tomatoes with a special blend of herbs and spices to create a sensational sauce. A wonderful way to add a warm Arabian flavourvarious meats and vegetables. Or, try using it straight from the jar to spice up a sandwich, or as a dip for nachos or potato wedges for a real zing.
