This is not your ordinary rice. It's ultra premium rice handled in a way to maximize its natural nutritional potential by increasing the amount of nutrients like GABA and fiber, containing up to 750% more GABA and fiber than white rice. It starts with ultra premium rice from Korea's Gyeongnam region, which is carefully harvested and put through a special germination process. This labor intensive process can take several days, but the result is a delicious rice that is packed full of nutrients. Compared to normal brown rice, GABA rice has a softer texture with a slightly nuttier taste. This particular rice has had the bran removed, but germ left intact. This means that, unlike white rice, the portion of the rice that contains a huge portion of the grain's nutrients, like GABA and fiber is kept on the grain.
