Grano Armando is the first Pasta made in Campania with a selected variety of Italian durum wheat, cultivated in the regions of Central and South Italy, according to the Armando supply chain pact between Farmers and the Producer. The De Matteis pasta factory has given file to a project which, by involving Farmers as well, creates a supply chain arriving at the consumer which can help to increase the land where Grano Armando is cultivated. Farmers belonging to the supply chain agree to cultivate their wheat according to precise standards in agreement with the Pasta factory. This way there is certainty as to the origin and quality of the raw material. Grano Armando is a high quality product (13,5% in protein content), drawn in bronze and has a range able to satisfying the premium and advanced consumer looking for the "typical" not only in the occasional consumption, but also in daily consumption (typical shapes and big shapes). Furthermore the packaging is fully consistent with respect for nature and protecting the farmers values. Grano Armando is the 1° pasta with a "zero impact" packaging. Made with compostable materials, papers produced in accordance with reforestation programs, printed only with inks of plant origin, in total absence of plastic materials, is an absolute novelty in the panorama of consumer products. The packaging is patented and certified both FSC and CIC
