The word taragna does not refer to an ingredient, but to the tarai, the wooden paddle traditionally used to stir polenta while cooking. Brencio's Instant Polenta Taragna is enriched with four important cheeses; Gorgonzola, Grana Padano, Emmental and Pecorino. This unique twist on polenta is not only delicious, but also very easy to prepare. Polenta is one of the most popular dishes of northern Italy, where people think about polenta like the rest of Italy thinks about pasta.
