The hominy corn kernels have been soaked in an alkali solution before grinding. White Hominy Grits can be made sweet or savory and are delicious any time of day. Stir and scrape down the sides of the pan well. Lower heat and simmer for 12 minutes or until tender. Storage: Store grits in a cool, dry place.
