Trader Joe's Thyme Honey Balsamic Vinaigrette

We like food products with fewer ingredients. They just seem purer, simpler. Our Thyme Honey Balsamic Vinaigrette has just three-extra virgin olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and thyme honey. No emulsifiers. Nothing else added. We also really like when the ingredients for a single product all come from the same place. The oil, vinegar, and honey for our new Vinaigrette are all produced in the Greek region of Lacadaemon (Sparta). In fact, Thyme honey (i.e. honey made by bees only exposed to thyme blossoms) is indigenous to the Spartan mountains. With such a simple make up, it's not hard to imagine just how Thyme Honey Balsamic Vinaigrette tastes... pure olive oil, blending with the mellow tartness and complex sweetness of balsamic, intensified by thyme honey with its herbal, savory notes. The combination strikes an unusual and pleasing balance. With a profile like this, you won't want to confine it to greens-though it's surely a suitable salad topper.
